Support to RT students
As an ARTES graduate student
you are welcome apply for support to your project or to go to a meeting or (just ask). The ARTES board
have allocated an 225 000 Sek for 2007 to support the RT-grad
students. This money will be distributed in 15 units of maximum 15 000 SEK.
The simple procedure to get one of these units is:
- To send an application to info@artes.uu.se, containing
- name, adr. etc of applicant
- where, when and how you will go
- a brief motivation including the relevance for RT-research
- a simple budget
- The ARTES Programme director will make the decision
within a approx. a week.
- You recive a decision letter (in Swedish) which you can show to your department secretary that writes the requisition letter to ARTES.
- The money will be provided to your department.
- We will later ask you to provide a brief report of how
you used the money, see your decision letter. Your report will be included in ARTES information such as, travel reports and ARTES annual report).
The idea is that these grants should be "under control" of the
graduate student (not the supervisor), hence if your supervisor wants
you to go somewhere (or wants you to buy something) ask him/her for
funding first!
Mobility support may be applied for at any time.
