PhD-student positions
ARTES is a national Swedish strategic research initiative in Real-Time
Systems supported by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF). ARTES forms a network of
academic and industrial groups, with the ambition to strengthen the
Real-Time Systems competence nationwide. The main focus of ARTES is
on graduate education and cooperation between industry and academia.
The holders of these positions will also be appointed as ARTES Real-Time graduate students.
- Software architecuture
Two PhD student positions are available for research in 1) software architecture, specifically embedded complex control systems with applications on autonomous robot systems. 2) Models and tool suport for distributed real-time systems. A tool prototype will be developed within the project that is carried out in close collaboration with industry. The positions are located at Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
- Multiprocessor communication
One PhD student position is available for studies of system architechture for parallell communication systems in multiprocessor environments. Your goal will be to develop methods for analysis and prediction of performace for communication with real-time demands.
